Job risk increasing - anyone else?

Hi
Just been speaking to my boss, feel so frustrated, looks like as a recruiter the area I'm working isn't taking off fast enough and not turning a profit (been working it six months - though been through 2 ops in that time) When I took the role in June it was Oct will tell - would have given me two months before Christmas to find a job, but now it's "lets see how this month goes" and it's increasingly looking like it could be just before Christmas when they suggest to end it! :eek:
Of course this is worrying, as no-one really employs round Christmas, we're living to a our means on both salaries though DH's wage will cover Mortgage, Council Tax, Water, Electric and even Partial DMP. But that's if we don't eat or drive or insure our car
I've got an interview for Care work, which could help, just wondered if anyone else is in the same boat? Boss has tried to be lovely and insists she knows i'm doing all I can! But even the leading office's income has halved!
Sorry for the rant just a little worried!
