I have this book and find it reassuring and useful. However, I admit to adjusting the recipes to our taste. The author has a nice witty style which is very down to earth.

Agree it is worth reading.

My BUT is that main meals are ok but many people have got fairly cheap main meals and lunch is easy if you are at home. It is the lunches for 4 people going to work/school and breakfasts and the 'bits' - drinks, etc that make your supermarket bill go up.

Yes I know it mentions breakfasts but don't have the time for cooking stuff in the morning!

please remember to cacel your trial of prime delivery before you get charged £49.00 for the year My darling OH has not yet let me forget the mistake I made last year.
