I too would have loved to stay there but as I have a toddler and 9 month old baby I wasn't eligible for the £11 rooms - the best price they could offer was £100 a night plus the cost of dinner in the restaurant. It was for one of the suites though which look amazing, but a bit out of my price range. My friend stayed there earlier this year and said it was a fantastic place.

Thanks MSE Jenny for the original post.

That seems strange - we have two kids - admittedly older than yours and they got the £11 each deal. Did you email or speak to Joanne Smale she is the only person working on this offer - if you speak to the switchboard they only take normal bookings.

Thanks - I just got an email from them but will give them a call to see if we could get the cheaper deal. Cheers and hope you have a lovely time.

Is there any feedback from anyone who took advantage of this offer?

We are going at the weekend & would appreciate any advice/ recommendations?
  • Hi Silver29, how did you get on? We're booked for Saturday.

We had a lovely time. Room was spacious, well designed and spotlessly clean!! Bed was ok (little to hard for my personal preference). Staff all wonderful. Very relaxing. Lovely location. Food was very good overall, our friends were not happy with their steak & chips but everything I had was either good or excellent. Can reccomend the Pollock as well as the venison dish. Breakfast was lovely but was a set £15 per person, we ate enough to last us through till dinner! Hope you have a great time.
