Hi everyone,

Have you heard of these people? When I was checking my credit file, they are on there. It says satisfied but also defaulted. I have no idea who they are. I've not defaulted on anything. I had a CCJ in 2001 but that was with GE Capital.

I have been passed from GE to CL Finance when I fell into arrears with my Dorothy Perkins Store Card. Looks like the same may have happened to you, although I thought that after this amount of time it would come off your history. When was it satisfied?

It was satisfied in 2001. It was a store card too, long story, forgot I bought something, moved and never received anything chasing the payment until I already had a CCJ.

I think I'll call Experian and see what they say.

That sounds like it then. When I had problems with my report I sorted it all out online with CreditExpert and by writing to the creditors. They should be removed 6 years after satisfied as far as I know.
