Can anyone help please.
My wife and i need to buy a second home for her to work from during the week. Our family home is in Shropshire and he job is now in London.
We have found a suitable small house, £245k and can afford an 85%LTV although we would much prefer 90%LTV.
We are both pretty high earners (jt income >£300k p/a) and fairly debt free with good credit score.
But i have called a few lenders this morning and they are all sounding like pub doormen, "Oh sorry no seconds homes", "sorry mate, no self employed tonight" ou get the picture.
Can anyone here help?

used to be able to do this using the equity in the first property - though might mean a rather high LTV ratio....0
