Hi
Not sure if anyone has noticed but C&G have made some cuts to their fixed rate mortgages today and Abbey are making their cuts tomorrow (as well as reintroducing their tracker mortgage). Hopefully completing in a couple of weeks therefore hope all the cuts the lenders are going to make are available before we finalise our mortgage!

I am looking at a fixed rate as mine runs out in Jan0

good news for me then as my deal with A+L expires at the end of Dec. In some cases it might be better to just go onto the SVR rate with no ties and then fix later on if it looks like the rate might start to go up.
Still waiting for A+L to announce a new SVR0 -
When I mortgage changes from fixed I still be better off 3% + 1.89% compared with 5.29% fixed. Obviously thats only better assuming base rate stays low0
