Clarks kids shoes sale starting early December

My local has a couple of random pairs of kids shoes reduced (same styles as the last sale, literally 3 pairs) and some kids slippers as well. I took DD in to get her measured yesterday and mentioned to the lady that I'd heard a whisper that it would be better to come back on Monday if we wanted to buy new ones.... She nodded and said Shhh!! but basically confirmed it so I plan to pop in if I can.

tis true, went an got my little boy measured today and as it turns out i knew the fella in the shop and he told me sale starts monday 1st so to go back then

Can anyone confirm if sale has started? In particular Meadowhall - i'm thinking of making a journey especially.

oh wil try and go tomorrow if ds is well enough ( vomiting lat night so 48 hours of no school what joy), he needs new school shoes

Oh wow, would love to know if this has started or when it does cos my LO needs some new shoes so this would be fab!

Went to my local Clarks today and the sale has started although the reductions were quite varied - I thought all the shoes tended to be 50% off last year but the the things that fitted this year didn't have such a big reduction! This store is quite small though so you might have more luck in a bigger store.

There were a lot of childrens' trainers reduced - got a pair for £15 instead of £26. The only school shoes for my daughter (who starts in Jan!) were £20 instead of £26 but I did spot a few pairs of school shoes for only £10.

I would recommend a look at the sale but it might also be worth looking in a week or so as I think they often reduce the shoes even further to really cheap prices. However, you have to take more of a chance as to what is available and the sizes.

I went bright and early and was quite disappointed. There weren't many styles on sale but maybe it's because I am looking for girls 13.5 and 1 sizes and boys 12.5 and these were hard to find.

Not as much choice and sizes as I've seen previously. There was just one pair for each of my kids in their sizes so I took them but wouldn't have chosen them otherwise. My sons are silver like what a spaceman would wear. What will OH say when he gets home:rotfl:

I had read this thread about the sale starting early December but noticed when shopping on Saturday that the sale was already on at our local Clarks. DS had picked out some gold/silver trainers in the half-term week but they didn't have his size...managed to get the exact same ones in his size for £15 instead of £26..I was chuffed and DS was happy too! :j
