Receiving payment from the Maldives

I am not too sure if this is the best topic to put this in.
I have a friend who lives in the Maldives and wants me to post off a copy of Football Manager 2009, when it's released on Friday. He will pay be back for it. It's very difficult for them to get FM as it's not a popular game there.
Does anyone know what is the best method of payment for him to pay me? I am looking what's cheapest - buying it from the internet and having it sent directly to him or I receive it and send it myself.

is paypal available in the Maldives?
Send as a "gift" fron a non-credit-card funding source and no charges incurred.
regarding where it should be sent diurect to him from the merchant or whether you should act as an intermediary will depend on a number of factors ... including Merchant shipping fees and whether they will send to an address that is not the payee's address. Customs could also play a part I guess.
Probably easier to get it yourself then forward it on - again marking any customs declaration as a low value gift0 -
either try and order it using his cc to your address or paypal the payment to you??? paypal fees shouldnt be that much.0
