Long time reader, first time poster

hey all...ive decided to add a post after yonks reading all of your's.

I have £4300 owered to Virgin Credit Card, £2000 to car finance and approx £3500 to Halifax loans. I turn 30 in 2 years (feel 12) and hope to pay this off but find it so hard to even meet the minimum payment of the credit card due to the interest. I have tried applying for other cards but no luck yet...

the bank loan will sort itself out as im meeting all payments on time, just wish i had a cash winfall to pay it off sooner...(any sugar mammas wanna chat? lol  )

oh and i stopped smoking today..good luck to my work collegues!!!

any help or advise would be great

    Hi and welcome

well done on stopping smoking,, this is something i havent managed to do yet,, A friend at work as bought one of those electric cigarettes and shes stopped straight away, Got it on ebay cost about 45 pounds and u can smoke in public places with it as no ash no nicotine just a vapour, It holds recharable little batteries, Its worked for her as she realised she was smoking at certain times through habit rather than just wanting one.

Good luck with your thread and plans. how about posting your statement of accounts? Ie everything you have coming in and everything you have coming out, as a lurker im sure you will have seen others doing it and other people popping some fantastic tips to help you out!

  • Hi and Welcome

I've not been here that long either, but the usual view is to post a SOA (statement of affairs - everything you spend) and then people can help you find ways to save money. The giving up smoking is a great start; well done!
