Can creditor charge 'Fee' while on agreement?

I have been in an 'Agreement' with creation finance for a fair few months now paying £10 per month (the debt is about £250 in total).

I was a few days late paying this month, and have received the below letter saying they are charging me a 'late fee'.

Can they do this while I'm on an agreement as I thought they couldn't add interest or anything onto the account while you are in financial difficulties..?

As afr as i know, they are entitled to charge a fee - but i would question £20 - have you had any others previously?? Might be worth claiming them back, similar to credit card charges

Write to them and ask for a breakdown of the £20.00 ;)
Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.

All information given by myself is offered informally and without prejudice - if in doubt seek help from a qualified and insured professional
