Bit of good news i thought id share

I stumbled across a thread with a PPI template letter to send off to people i have debt with.
Ive had a response from one of them cancelling my PPI (£700 or £15 a month)
Another has given me a phone number to ring to cancel my ppi or reply with another letter (this time signed which the one i sent wasnt) and theyd cancel it. Its £9 less a month but it still makes a difference.
I am also looking into changing my largest debt of £8000 over to my building society by going in to speak to someone rather than apply online. My current loan apr is 16.1 and they rang me a few days back asking if i wanted to loan more money!!! - for the first time in my life i felt i had a hold of them when the guy started stuttering after i mentioned the fact that it is causing me stress and depression along with seeing a credit counsellor. Nothing more was said he wished me a merry christmas. I dont know whether it was the right or wrong thing to do but im happy i didnt get sucked into mounting my dept higher.
This site has been a godsend, to those who have just joined welcome. Merry Christmas everyone.
Thank you to everyone on here as everything i have read has helped me so much.

Where is the thread?"Some say the cup is half empty, while others say it is half full. However, this is skirting around the issue. The real problem is that the cup is too big."0
