Parking At Belfast City Airport

I know there are very few options available with the city airport, but are the parking amenities provided by the airport the cheapest option?

Secondly what are the most up to date rules as to what can't be taken via luggage?

City parking's about £20 a day. If you live anywhere near Belfast a taxi is a better option. The luggage rules can be found on the website of the airline you are flying with usually or here:
http://www.dft.gov.uk/transportforyou/airtravel/airportsecurity/
Be aware though that each airport has it's own little quirks (alas). The DFT guidelines may be be increased at certain airports.

Parked At Belfast City Airport For Four Days At The End Of October And Total Cost Was £34 Thought This Was Quite Reasonable Compared To Parking At Dublin Airport

If you pre book the car park at Dublin airport via the internet it's 7euro 50 a day. That's 30 euro for 4 days (less than £25) so still better than City airport which is an absolute rip off.

Thanks folks, I don't live near Belfast, so am I to believe the city airport car park is the best option?

There's nowhere else in the area to park long term unfortunately, the only other options are public transport. You can get the train to Sydenham, then lug your bags over the footbridge. There's also a bus service from the city centre.

Some being the operative word....lol......eg......

1 day.......ie 24hrs...9am-9am.....online ..£10.82........instead of £11 !!!!

Makes a huge saving of a whole.......shattering.....earth shaking....£0.18 !!

Yes...you read correctly........18 pence!

For 2 days.....online pre-booked you can save £1.43......and for 7 days....a massive £4 saving.....£37 instead of £41!!

Patently they don't really want people parking there and this type of tarriffing is to keep people from filling up their car-park, whilst at same time allowing those business types to claim the cost on expenses!!!


Nevertheless rip-off Belfast City airport I'd say...at the International....one week....£15!
