I'm off work today, yippee, but couldnt resist having a peek on here to see what ive missed :0)
Ive had a wander round the shops today and am amazed at how prices differ!! GHD's for example, can buy them online, the cheapest I have found was £70 (with a £7.50 discount), but most of the shops & hairdressers are selling them for £90 - £99!! I saw a lady looking at them and told her where to buy them online cheaper, I couldnt resist!!
Also, rant No 2 - I couldnt find a copy of Martin's new Money Diet anywhere - has it not been released in store yet??? I thought that would make a great Christmas present for someone.. (trust me to leave it til the last moment!!)
Anyway... I just wanted to say I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas & all the best for 2006. Lets hope its a good year :0) Have a great time with your families, and I look forward to catching up with you all in the New Year... This has definately been a good end to the year with becoming debt free and you have all been great... I would like to thank my mum, my dad, my stylist.... :0)
Here's to 2006!!!!!!!!!
Lots of love.

So proud of my OH. He went Christmas shopping for my presents yesterday (I have done all the ones for our families), hit Oxford St. Bought a dvd I'd been after for ages (think it's walking with dinosaurs, but I'm playing along and pretending stupidity so as not to spoil the surprise) spent £25 because it's a box set. Came home, felt a little cheated. Asked me if he could find it cheaper on Amazon would I mind waiting until after Christmas for it, then he could return the unused high street one. I said of course! He found it for £10, and I showed him how to shop through Nectar e stores to pick up a couple of points too. He's finally learning how to be a savvy shopper! so proud of him!!!
Merry Christmas to all, looking forward to seeing you in the new year, where hopefully the only Christmas guilt we'll have to contend with is overeating (and not overspending).
