Now if they can do something like that for free, why can't Braehead in Glasgow???

I do not know what the world is coming to when £1.20 is too much to spend on your children
Harrods is free but many many people were not lucky enough to get tickets. I am only trying to help :rolleyes:0 -
Harrods is completely sold-out, and Selfridges only have some limited mid-week availability, so this could be an alternate opportunity if you live in or around London.
Not sure if presents are involved, but it doesn't sound too bad for a magical experience

Maybe it's the booking fee that's too much, rather than paying the cost to get in? Like I booked selfridges which is £2 each, but works out at £1 to Charity and £1 booking fee, Id rather the £2 went to charity, does it really cost £1 each ticket to book online ?(including printing out my own ticket)0 -
hello,
stupid question but do you only book for children or do adults accompanying children have to be booked too?0 -

I think you book for everyone going in / on the experience. Website says:
Entry (per person)0 -
I have just tried booking this online but had a few problems with their website. I did manage to find a number for their booking line (08719189218) dont bother listening to the prompts, just press option 4 and it will put you through to a human. (Quite friendly as well)
It is £1.20 booking fee but at leat you are guaranteed a place and it is per person.
The guy on the other end of the line stated that he expected it to be busy because there is no spaces left at Selfridges or Harrods.0 -
Thanks for this OP, I never realised they did anything like this or thought about taking the kids. Have booked for 6th Dec and there seems to be a good number of weekend tickets still available so we have booked and then will go see the lights down Oxford Street in the afternoon/early evening.
ETA: I just wanted to add that when we booked there is a space to fill in if you have a child with Special Needs requirements so you get that little bit of extra help you if you need it.0 -
£1.20 suits me just fine.
My local mall in Ilford which we visit every year is £5.95 with a toy.
Last year whilst shopping in Lakeside, I noticed they had a huge one and its free with a toy. The line was way too long though so we skipped it. But they do offer a free booking line.
I will be heading down to Westfield this year, 3D sounds good.0
