DVD Player - Loophole??

I don't know, but i think this may be a loophole.
After spending some money in Virgin the other day i was given a book of vouchers. One of them was for a 'free' DVD player if you took out Virgin Love (Life) insurance. You would be sent the player as soon as your first payment had been debited from your account.
There is however, no mention of policy length - in theory could you take out the policy and cancel after month one? To take out the policy you have to call 08456 102049 quoting DVD Offer.
I've no need for a player, but if it is a genuine loophole, i'm sure it'll help someone with their christmas shopping.

Anyone who's ever filled out the forms to get life insurance cover should know that it probably isn't worth the effort just to get a dvd player which at best will be worth £20.
But, if you are looking for life insurance there's no harm in getting a freebie. You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0 -
t+c state that they can take the DVD player back if you cancel within a year. Would they bother though?0
