Speaking only about the childrens clothes, I guess its a bit like the instore sale - you think its going to be fantastic and then the prices all seem a bit high still!

Most things were discounted by 25%, some by 50% and a lot of things out of stock in the smaller children's sizes. However, I managed to buy some great stuff for my daughter's future years that are things I might have considered buying at full price anyway, so I am VERY HAPPY WITH THE ORIGINAL POSTER! THANKS!!!
  • well looks like I have missed the boat of 30 items in childrens put in 28 were out of stock and 2 items were expected in 2 weeks
  • Worked for me - got loads of bits I'd seen in the catalogue but couldn't justify buying at the full price. Many thanks.

  • hi i want to set up a next account but its says you have to pay 3.50 for the next directory. so every time they send you out a new catalogue like one for spring one for summer and one for winter do you have to keep paying 3.50 for it?

also ,it says that if you return something they will refund to your next account.so does that mean you dont get the money back and that you have to spend the refunded money on something from the catalogue?

    any help will be appreciated

Hi, yes you do have to pay for the directory, unless I guess you tell them not to send it or cancel your account. However, I always find free p&p codes so feel that I more than save the £3.50 elsewhere. When you buy something it goes on your account as you owing them...say...£100. If you return half of that, then they refund your account and you only owe them the rest. If you return it all (they then refund your delivery charge if this happens by the way), then they cancel it against your outstanding amount and you owe them nothing. As you have 14 days to return to a store or by post or by calling the courier to pick it up, it is unlikely that you have time to make a payment on your account amount, then be refunded and then end up with them owing you money. If this is the case, I would imagine they'd send you a cheque or refund to your bank account if you were sure you'd never spend it with them.

    hope that helps.

Dunno if they are going to let this go through their system btw - they might notice people already buying stuff at sale prices. Although everything I ordered was going to be at least 5 days until dispatch so maybe by then it will pass under the radar as sale would have started. However, it might also be in the great mist of sale time, I don't get anything....we'll just have to wait and see. If they do charge full price though and deliver the goods, I'll just return them all for a full refund.

I was wondering as well whether this will work, as I only had an email today from NEXT saying the sale doesn't start until 27th December. I only managed to get a few things since nearly everything I wanted was sold out already, and the items I did order were all delayed by at least 5 days. From what I remember from previous NEXT sales they seem to go on for ages, and if one day something you want is out of stock you may well find the next day or two it is back in & still at sale price.

Don't know origin of code. I read it on another website's forum.
