  • Oh, my daughter would love this. Do you think it would be ok to take her, shes 7, but looks more 9!!
November wins...a book, a designer handbag (worth £550 :T) and a game. I am now an addict and thank everyone for taking the time to share and post. :D
  • You should be fine taking her as long as she is with you. We went to see them at the BIC last year and they were awful though...absolute waste of money. We walked out before the end.

I took my daughters a couple of years ago (Hence the email from them!) and they were about 7 and 9 at the time. This will be a seated concert so no concerns with kids getting squashed, so she should be fine.

As for them being rubbish, their audience is largely pre-teen girls and men and they all seemed to enjoy it!

My girls are a bit older now and not as keen, so we won't be going again. I also have issues with the image they present. Last time we went I was a bit shocked at the dramatic weight loss they had all undergone. I know they are all naturally pretty slender and very attractive girls, but they had slimmed and gymmed ready for the tour, so they were almost skeletal!

I don't want my girls to think that being so very thin or barely dressed is necessary in order to be attractive. They are 10 and 12 now and very conscious of their appearance so I'm trying to promote more healthy looking role models.

That said, before anyone jumps to their defence, I admire what they have achieved in the last few years, quite like their music and think they show young ambitious women in a good light most of the time. I also realise they are under alot of pressure from the media to be stick thin, but I'm trying to avoid putting that pressure on my kids.

My daughter loves girls aloud but she's only 6. Do you think the stalls or the tiers would be better for her at the O2 London

    Hi There,
I'm interested in tickets for this event but I'm not sure what to do. I've clicked on the link but it doesn't give me any options to buy, any special codes or any details of events - What steps should I be taking?

The email has come from the record company who email me regualrly with updates from the band. The link goes through to ticketmaster which is probably the biggest ticket sales company in the country. I am sure it will be genuine, however I apologise in advance if it is a hoax. I guess we will just have to wait until Wednesday and see. Perhaps it is just an error regarding the Glagow venue which will be rectified when the tickets are on sale. Good luck!
