I'm not the kind of person to encourage people to board the Titanic, you see. If I step in or see a puddle in the street, I'll warn someone else too.

Do you think that if you can con enough people into jumping on board a rapidly sinking ship it'll give you an opportunity to get off it yourself or something? If so, better have a rethink. This is just an internet forum and won't swing an entire catastrophically failing market.

Had to reply to this (she says rather warily...:rotfl: )

I have never found NDG that sort of person, in fact she has made many helpful posts in the past (especially with giving me ideas and advice on possible home working vacancies to get around my conundrum of care duties and wanting to work).

One thing I have found in life is that people tend to talk about their own life experience as a way of empathising with another, I am certainly guilty of it in 90% of my posts and do start to worry that it is boring people to hear about my life.

I have only seen rare mention of NDG's parents, slightly more regarding her OH and loads about her son (I am as bad, we are both proud parents!) but the general theme of her replies is as helpful advice, not boasting.

Anyway, I will let everyone get back to their arguements...blimey you are all worse than my kids who can bicker for England (ooppss there I go again, mentioning my kids! :rotfl: )

Actually, pickledpink - that's not quite true, is it?

You called me a number of choice epithets, which were all reported to abuse and subsequently deleted. You've had a large number of posts deleted.

I fail to recall a single constructive post of yours ie not intended either to (a) gloat or (b) put someone else down.

You know, you don't need to.

There is another way of living.

I'm not saying we'd all be your best friend if you posted less abusively, but you might find you were more satisfied with your lot?

One of them is already gone.... A whole thread in fact, deleted. Not sure who my cyber buddies are supposed to be, I'm just a bit confused at why you go out of your way to be rude to people. As is often said, if you haven't got anything nice to say, don't say it at all. Or at least address the issue, not the person (which you do repeatedly).
