false credit report from MyCallCredit

has anyone else ordered their credit report from MyCallCredit?
i got a report from them, realised that compared to an experian report from last year that there were several items missing. these are not items which have become more than 6 years old and they are all existing debts to the tune of nearly £2k
i contacted them to ask why the report was incomplete and they sent the following reply:
Hi xxxxxxx
Thank you for your recent letter which has been passed for my attention.
I am sorry to hear that you are disappointed with the service. However, your information can vary between the three credit reference agencies - this is because some lenders supply information to all three agencies and some just to one or two. Lenders are aware of this when running a search on you and may therefore approach more than one agency if they feel this is necessary.
We cannot add accounts not already showing as we do not have an agreement to hold this data - neither would we receive regular updates on the account.
Bank accounts, savings accounts and utilities also rarely show on credit files as they are not considered to be credit accounts.
We have shown you all the information a lender would see when they run a search through Callcredit.
I trust this clarifies the situation. Should you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us through this message centre.
Regards
xxxx

now does that sound to anyone else like a complete waste of money?
i have had to go and purchase an experian report as well.
they are refusing to refund which i asked for in my letter but in my oppinion they did not provide the service which they offered.
where do i go next? financial ombudsman?

I checked my file with them and it didn't have as much on it as Experian or Equifax, but it put my mind at rest that there was nothing there that the others had missed, IYSWIM? For £2 it was just peace of mind for me, but I don't think I'd bother again, I'll just stick with the other two in future.
They say:

Which is all they can tell you really. If it's your first time checking your record then it is probably wisest to apply for all three. I would put this down to £2worth of experience and put your efforts into managing your money or debt or whatever.
Sorry though, I know £6 is a lot if money is tight.0 -
I got mine from CallCredit and it's a good mix between what is on Experian and Equifax but not as detailed as either. Still worthwhile though as it has an error on it.0

Surely it's not a "false" report as such, but instead CallCredit is not contacted by Creditors for debts to be logged as often as the other main two (Experian and Equifax) are?"Part P" is not, and has never been, an accredited electrical qualification. It is a Building Regulation. No one can be "Part P qualified."

If you obtained the £2 report then you are asking them to tell you all the information they have on you, which they have done. There is no point making a complaint because they have done nothing wrong.

I got a callcredit report online (yes I know it's a waste of money!) but after having paid the £4.99 they said they couldn't obtain a report for me and in the end posted one out. It had several errors eg out of date accounts that were showing settled over 6 years ago and electoral roll said i'd lived at my current address 3 years when it was actually 10. Anyway, they eventually got me an online report and have since amended all the necessary details and given me 2 free online reports as well. I found their customer services very helpful, the only thing is you have to secure message them and can't phone. I have had no searches appear on callcredit but most of my new accounts are showing on there.Mortgage-free wannabe!0
