Tesco's deal - check your receipts!

So, I was hunting through my purse to see if I could find the Morrison's till receipt (didn't realise their £20 voucher promo doesn't start till the 10th) and came across the till receipt from a quick shop I did in Tesco's yesterday. When I read it, I saw that I'd get £7 off a spend of £50...
Popped in this morning, bought the wine for Xmas - the only stuff that went in the trolley was wine that we'd have been buying anyway, and only that marked as being 'half price'. In addition when you buy more than 6 bottles, you get an additional 5% off.
When I went throught the checkout, I'd bagged 16 bottles of some very nice stuff indeed, and, as it came to £53, it earned me a voucher for 5p a litre off petrol.
Now, because I am a disciplined soul (aka tight-fisted beggar), the wine will go into the dining room, and not be consumed any faster than our usual 'a bottle on Friday, a bottle on Saturday' rate, as well as being set aside for Christmas.
If I was more disciplined, of course, I'd have cut the coupons out of the paper and redeemed them, as Tesco's has the policy of accepting coupons if they stock the goods, but I'm still feeling pretty happy!:j
The Scotsman behind me in the queue at 10am this morning (buying only a very patriotic two bottles of whisky) said he wanted to come to my party, and I could go to his, and looked very sceptical as I tried to explain it was all in the cause of moneysaving....
