I don't use ATMs any more after all these scare stories, although I have not had a bad experience myself. Where possible I use a cash back card for most purchases and I have opened a modest deposit account in a local BS, which is literally around the corner, in case I need cash. Getting cashback from inside stores is another way but there is a limit of course and the opening hours can be a problem. OK if you live near a 24/7 store.
It must be really scary if you need money in a vulnerable ATM area. Just reading these threads makes me feel nervous! It's a shame that we are now avoiding ATMs because of these despicable criminals. When is the Empire going to fight back?0
