i tried contact lenses but i was so used to my glasses it was like losing a limb. I also had trouble getting them out on a night, getting them in was a piece of cake.

I too had ordinary glasses and reading glasses and the times i forgot them when i got to work and had to go home again for them was a real pain.
I finally got my varifocals about 3 years ago and honestly they were the best things i have ever bought. I am very shortsighted so they are the first thing I put on on a morning and the last thing i take off at night. Worth every penny. It takes a couple of weeks for your eyes and brain to get used to them but I would never go back to 2 pairs of glasses. Good Luck
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

I may be wrong here, but I believe this means they have an agreement with Johnson & Johnson (who manufacture the acuvue lenses), which wil involve having to sell acuvue lenses only, or at least a high percentage. In other words, its probably not a recommedation of expertise!
Hi Tidus, that did indeed cross my mind. However I've never been pressed to have Acuvue, I wear Bausch and Lomb.
I was more going on the fact that as they sell so many to become centre of excellence it shows that they are more involved with lenses than specs.
Hope that little ramble makes sense.
