Guys offered HFC Bank £400 for full and final payment on my credit card with them which they have refused and responded with following letter.
*********************
Thank you for your recent letter, the contents of which have been noted.
Please be advised that your offer of £400 in settlement of this account has been declined. May we suggest that you use the available funds to reduce the balance outstanding, and then continue with your contractual monthly payments until the remaining balance is paid in full.
Should you be experiencing financial difficulities, please complete and return the enclosed financial statement, together with following information:
1. Proof of household income i.e payslips
2. A full list of creditors with balances outstanding
Once this information is recieved we will be able to assess your ability for payment in line with money advice guidelines.
Should you be unable to meet the above requirements, please contact us immediately to discuss further.
Sincerely
Department Manager
********************************
So the bank have refused my offer, so can I just ignore the remainder on there requesting certain details? after all, CCCS are dealing with this and I currently pay them £5 a month through this DMP.
Anyone help?

Ignore it, it's a template letter.Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.
All information given by myself is offered informally and without prejudice - if in doubt seek help from a qualified and insured professional0 -
I agree wth 10past6, might be worth letting CCCS know about it though.
