Tried to save money getting Delia vid from library

Well, I saw all your threads about Delia and her recipes - I looked at her website and liked it and then, huge surprise, I found her double video How to Cook Part 1 in the lending section at the library.

Wow - what a find!!!
Anyway, it's free rental as it's treated as a book (except each lending period is 1 week instead of 3) AND I'm allowed to keep on renewing it - 8 hours of free Delia whenever I want.
Anyway, I was very pleased with myself and couldn't stop watching it - I was feeling like a proper smug moneysaver should. But hour by hour, it got a bit frustrating as the recipes were so good I had to scribble down about 3 out of every 4. So......to cut a long story short - I "had" to go and buy the book!!! Not a bad price as I got it for £10 from Amazon (£13 less £3 referral voucher and ordered something else so free p&P) - you could do a little better on Ebay depending on the day, maybe save one or two pounds.
So, anyone with heaps of willpowerl or a padlock on their purse - get to your local library and get a Delia video for free. They'll even get them from another branch in your county for the reservation fee. I've already ordered Winter Collection - and there's about 3 more I can do after that.
