For those who want a decent Shiraz, you'll only read/hear good things about the 2002 Rockbare Shiraz from McClaren Vale.

12 bottles of the Rockbare, 6 bottles of the Muscadet, (housewarming gifts), used free delivery, £10 off groceries and it's £50.56 delivered. :)

That equates to £4.16 a bottle for the Shiraz and the case of Muscadet thrown in for FREE.

  • Thanks for the tip. I used it to get my order up to 12 bottles when I wanted one of the reduced christmas luxury cases (now a real bargain at £50).

Used £10 off for new user and £5 free delivery (even though my order was under £99) so the lot for £52 - not bad.

If the Muscadet turns out to be rubbish, I can always use it as my "bring a bottle" wine when I go to parties :D

Be very careful with these offers from Tescos... they often deliver only 1 case and charge you £5 for delivery plus all your other codes don't get applied. The delivery driver will tell you the rest is on the way, but it never turns up. It happened to me twice and each time it took numerous (unanswered) e-mails and about £4 in phone calls (0870 number - no alternative on SayNoTo0870.com) to get the charges back! I would never shop or buy anything from Tescos again.
Don't blame me, it was like that when I got here!

If you buy red wine and it`s crap at least you can add lemonade to make sangria.
Any suggestions what we can do if this Chateau la Tarciere Muscadet turns out to be p**s

Lemonade makes a good white wine spritzer too :)

Hope not. It does say 200 in the name though in the place that it normally says the bottle size. Has anyone got a delivery date before 29th Jan? If we refuse to accept the delivery when its delivered will they refund the delivery charge?
