Is my total tax to date correct?

Hi again, month later and another query with my tax.
Just checking my pay slip and I've got as follows, can anyone tell me if this is correct please..
My tax code is the same as last time...608L as I work at home.
Gross pay this month 550.00
PAYE Tax 8.60
Nat Ins 10.89
Gross pay to date 4412.50
Tax paid TD 172.00
Earnings for NI TD 4406.00
Nat Ins TD 137.39
I kind of worked it out that I should have maybe paid £167 total tax to date, which is a difference of £5... Not too well up on this though so might be wrong.... any help appreciated..thanks..

as I see it
your tax allowance for 7 months is 6089 x 7 /12 = 3551.9
so tax is 20% of (4412.50 - 3551.9) = 20% of 860 = 1720
