Snowflake costume, how to make one?

Sorry to duplicate my thread over In the Arms but need help, and I know there's plenty of creative peeps in OS

DD( 4 yo) is a snowflake in her Christmas show.

I've found this

I've already concerned cutting snowflake shape out of cardboard or wire and covering in silver tinsel, but thought it might be a bit stiff and probably not very practical for sitting in. Any other options?

white tights and long sleeve t-shirt with paper flakes and tinsel stapled all over?

I'd be more concerned about wire sticking into her skin than its comfort when sitting down!

For DD's last year, I bought a pair of white stretchy legging from Primark (50p) and a value white l/s tee from Tesco (or may have been asda). I just drew a very large snowflake on her teeshirt using pva glue and then stuck glitter to it, plus I sewed some silver tinsle on each sleeve cuff and trouser hem. It looked fine tbh. I was originally thinking about a cardboard snowflake but thought it would be a bit cumbersome for her.

A couple of mums had made headbands with tinsle too and one mum put white tassles (like you'd get on curtain hooks and the like) on her dd's sleeves.

The tassles looked very effective when they were dancing I thought.

Sorry, MSE doesn't encourage duplication of threads, as it leads to confusion. As you have more answers on your Arms thread, I'll close this one.
