Co-operative Loan Help?

Hi guys, I am on a debt management plan with CCCS and one of the outstanding debts is to this company and happens to be the highest, at just over £12k.
Recently I decided to send certain companies offers for part and final payment and also at the same time, sent a letter to the co-operative bank asking them to confirm the total amount owed/payable on the account.
On my CCCS statement it states £12,555 which I think was the original balance when starting CCCS around 2 years ago. Now Co-op have got back to me stating I owe, just over £15k....
I spoke to CCCS to update them on what is owed and they state that it seems they have been charging me quite high interest (this was an assumption by them btw) which is why it is so much higher. They have sent me a letter to forward on to them, to request a copy of the credit agreement, so I can confirm what charges etc they are putting on my account.
What I wanted to know, was is this best? I dont want to wind them up and force them into taking further action? i.e. for example if they cant find the original statement of affairs etc...
Anyone help, as quite worried...
Thanks

Try not to panic, and let the CCCS get the information from them. Usually the CCCS get interest frozen on payments, and it may be that there has been an error.
Wait till you find out the details, and speak to your advisor. Co-op won't kick off immediately, and even if they did you have maintained your DMP (agreed by them) so a court would be unlikely back them up if they did. Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....
