Obtaining Full Birth Certificate

My son has a damaged passport, because he was born after 1982 we need to send a full birth certificate... anyone know where I can get one and do we have to pay!! if so whats the cheapest way, Thanks

Phone up the births and deaths registrar in the town he was born. If you no longer live in that area, they will tell you how to do it by post.
I had to fill in a form , pay the fee (£7) and collect it the following day.

You don't need to prove who you are to get a cettificate. Anyone can order any BC. I've ordered loads from the above site for my family tree. If you order online, you usually get it within a few days.:grouphug: Things can only get better.0
