Cheltenham Littlewoods closing down - up to 50% sale.

I was out doing my Christmas shopping today. Cheltenham Littlewoods have got a closing down sale on, up to 50% off, they close sometime in january.

Our one had 70% off casual wear and jeans.

Well, there's a few weeks yet, so hopefully they'll be knocking more off as closing down day approaches.

They are closing on January 7th. I know, my daughter is an employee and is being made redundant

Perhaps you could (or anyone else if they so wish) answer my query then as Littlewoods online have been unable to do so.

Basically when index closed down i still had some vouchers left and was told that Littlewoods would accept them, however when a friend tried to use them in store she was told that they weren't allowed.

Can i use them or was i deliberately lied to by the store in the first place.

If your daughter doesn't know has she got a contact number for me to find the information out?


would appreciate any help.

Not sure about Index vouchers but I know that our local littlewoods isn't taking vouchers that came with hamper clubs....(not sure which type)..apparently the person who tried to use them was told that Littlewoods wouldn't honour them.

Hi Del Boy Gupta,
Just asked my daughter about your vouchers. Apparently if they are "INDEX" vouchers only, they cannot be used in Littlewoods. However, if the say "LITTLEWOODS INDEX" they can.
Anybody wanting to try the Index returns number are out of luck tho, the head office has shut. You have to use your manufacturers guarantee instead.
