Check to see if your neighbours have or use one. It would be unlikely that a milkman will drive significantly out of his way to deliver to you specifically.0 -
Can having a Milkman be MoneySaving0

Hopefully will be to me, I'm buying a 2 litre of milk for 89p and it costs as much to buy 1 litre and a pint is too little.
I'm finding the milk is off within 2 days, even with the good dates on the carton, so it's more about wastage for me. Plus it keeps me out of the car and out of the shop therefore stopping any extra spending
I was reckoning on a milk man leaving a pint of milk every day then I'd not be wasting as much, plus I could leave a wee note if there was none needed or extra's.
I havent spotted a milkman in the neighbourhood nor saw any bottles left out with my neighbours so will have to keep asking about

Unfortunately milk men are very much a dying breed. They cant compete on price and too few people value the service.0 -
Cathy... surely in this day and age you should be looking for a milk"Person". LOL...
Would agree with Paul though, I think Milkmen have died a death... I recon you'd be very lucky to get one.. Good luck though in the search..Live, Love & Laugh A Lot!0 -
Thanks it was worth a go!!
Will be having a nosey round the place but I think I'll just have to keep buying the 2 litre and making custard or something haha
