I've just had delivered 2 fully boned guinea fowl for Boxing Day and my lovely butcher has given me the carcass/all bones/wings separately.
I'd like to make a simple stock, but not sure the simplest way to make it.
I've also had a slow cooker delivered today ( a bargain at £6.49 using a discount voucher found on MSE!), and wondered if I could use make the stock in the slow cooker to 'christian' it (and to give m a chance to get used to using it)
Would appreciate any thoughts/ideas etc :rudolf:
thankyou!

just put the bones in the slow cooker with an onion and a carrot if you have them, a bayleaf, and cover with water, leave on low all day or overnight!Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

Is this bargain still available?"The happiest of people don't necessarily have the

think I'll do it one day next week when i'm off, the meat and bags of carcasses have gone inthe freezer for now, and, although i'm pretty sure it will be safe, I'd rather be here the first time I use it!!!
