Recommend a plumber to install dishwasher (Edinburgh) and cost of installation?

Can anyone give a recommendation from recent personal experience if possible of a plumber to fit a dishwasher in Edinburgh. Any idea of what this would cost? (Never had one fitted before, so I guess I need a plumber to do it?) Thanks!

Is this a new kitchen? Fitting company should do it, as you need water supply, waste and electric supply.
If old (sorry) kitchen, you may need elec socket fitted for power, unless near to another appliance like wash machine. You can get DIY "Y" fittings to double up the water connection which is like wash machine, but if you are not confident/competent, or live above me, get a plumber!

Depends where you are in Edinburgh, but I've used William Wightmans in Merchiston 0131 229 1918. Very good, next door liked them too. Explain what you what to do, and they should help.

TIP: I don't have shower or use washing machine at the same time as dishwasher; the water pressure is important to good cleaning. Don't bother with salt, not needed in EH.
