Hi All,
We've just provisionally booked the register office for the 27th December, and we're trying to sort out if we can manage to get ready in time.
It's going to be a very simple do, ceremony at 11 o'clock, then a meal for just family, and a couple of drinks, then a night in a hotel for me and OH.
We're looking for rings, but really don't want to spend an awful lot. I do want them to be nice though. I was hoping to spend less than £160 for both, can anyone point me in the right direction?
Also - I'm looking for a dress, not a 'typical' wedding dress, more a lovely dress that I could possibly wear again. I've looked in Coast and Monsoon, but neither ranges seem to fit me well. Monsoon are too big on the hips, and Coast seem to be too big in my normal size, but the next size down is too small. Does anyone have any ideas for other shops I could try?
Thanks

What about Debenhams, M & S or BHS for the dress? They have some stunning ones for a really good price.0

E bay!!
I've seen some lovely rings here and Milly and Landy Bridal (trading as Cinderellashop and asapbay) have really good feedback (see threads here as well) and can make to order very quickly.
Good luck!!0 -
I would recommend you try Debenhams for your dress, they have some gorgeous ones in, especially at this time of the year. Good luck!0

we are thinking about John Greed for our rings.......I like titanium, so I am hoping we can get a couple of rings under £100.
However, he has now decided he would like titanium and gold, which is £130.
But the one I am currently favouring is under £50.

I just noticed some nice dresses in the window of BHS today as I was walking home from work. They were all short sleeved, and I'm looking for long sleeved, but they seemed beautiful through the window!Pick battles big enough to matter, small enough to win. - Jonathan Kozol0

Don't know if you are after a traditional ring, but if so try googling betts metal supplies. These were given a mention on another forum.0

I disagree about the argos rings. We tried some on and we both thought they felt awful. We ended up spending a bit more on them from H Samuels and we're really happy about them:)
Yorkshirechick... we booked our wedding not that long ago for 24th December and everything is nearly sorted:j I got my dress from Monsoon and luckily it fits lovely. maybe if you saw a dress you like you could get someone to do some adjustments on it
