I've had such a good day - too many things purchased to list but............I did 9 transactions at the ss till, one after the other and it didn't beep or freeze on me once  . SA just smiled at me :D

Total paid £10ish, value of items £125ish + 2 gwps (one ladies one mans).

Have one lonely solitary pinkie to use tomorrow when I shall grab something, use my advantage card and add some points.

Now I'm going to cook dinner, put my feet up and watch the telly with a satisfied grin all night. (And a bottle of Baileys for £7 from Tesco) :j

Hehe, good on ya researcher. Sounds like the amount of transactions i normally do :p:rotfl:

Ooo, Baileys! Well reminded, am off to grab a glass right away, on the rocks dare i say :T

    Scarlett: yes, really! http://www.mirror.co.uk/celebs/3am/2008/11/07/mariah-carey-arrives-for-x-factor-with-27-items-of-luggage-115875-20876066/
  • What I can't get my head around  ....if the only reason Mr.B. has stopped the TS is to stop us getting bargains, why didn't they just make the barcodes the same instead? It would be far easier on the SA at the SS tills (and us for hiding glitches but getting another voucher;) )
  • Yes - was at the fort today (first time i'd been there!) and did two separate transacions - had to ask the SA for a bluey and even then she didn't want to give me two (even though i had spent over £5 in two transactions!!) Only good thing was that i managed to get the last S&G GWP set for £5 and the shimmer palette!!

Mimi - love your posts!!! xxx:T
Some advice -- avoid the Fort in the week, the woman who works the SS tills is a troll in disguise. She watches you like a hawk and breathes down your neck when making transactions and tells you what vouchers/coupons you can/cant use. So weekends are obviously better! They are lovely in the bullring though :)

Yeah, I take back what I said about never having a bad swap on here  . I'm just telling myself it was an honest mistake as the vouchers were almost identical and I didn't spot it myself. Trouble is I swapped with a few people so hard to know where they came from

someone swopped out of date vouchers with you? that is sooo bad:( so sorry to hear this hotpot4 "what goes around comes around"

yes - i do love the bullring ss tills - the sa's on there just let you get on with it and only jump in when necessary (like when you freeze the tills!!) much prefer the bullring store just wish it was much bigger!!

go to the graze website and enter this code: 4LKM1R3B to get your first graze box free and the second half price!!
  • Oh I'm so upset, I took 2 x No 7 Suncare lipstick things and 2 packs of pampers to a manned till, was hoping to use pinkie/ts/2xpampers vouchers but SA stop all that. She told me I could not use the pinkie and ts together, but she'd happily put them thru as 2 separate transactions, I stood there for a few seconds babbling rubbish until I was able to compose myself and used the excuse that I'd forgotten my purse and would have to come back. She scared me so much I rushed out not to return but did manage to get 4 x Thomas DVDs in The Works and would never have gone that way had I not been running scared, so my little boys will be pleased!!

    Still going to try tomorrow!

i must agree with you there, the no7 girls at boro are great! they laugh when they see me coming cos they know i`ll have lots of vouchers, they are always willing to try!

I have always shied away from using the no7 counter to pay when using extra vouchers as I thought they would be less willing than the sa's!!

I now have four no7 extra pointers so am hoping for another 3 4 2 on mens stuff soon - don't like it enought to pay full price even with £2.50 worth of points!! Could have used them all today too had I remembered to remove them - wondered if it would be worth taking the receipts and vouchers in and asking to have them added?

hahahaha love it :rotfl: Even though (sssshhhh dont tell Mimi) I don't like her, I agree with Scarlett what a woman 27 bags is indeed Divastyle status!!!!

LOL. It's OK love. I know most people can't stand her. But I think she is fab. She is just totally bonkers! She actually came over with 17 pieces of luggage (she text me, all luggage is empty cos she wanted to fill up at Boots, I'm one of her personal shoppers you see!) and is not actually staying for 3 days. It's just for X Factor, and then she is being jetted off in a private jet to Monaco for an award ceremony.

She is not a diva at all. She just likes to be girly and OTT, unlike other trolls like Madonna and please don't even mention Kylie, what exactly has she got when it comes to talent? Mariah is a legend, loads of No 1's, absolutely gorgeous. She was married to some controlling older guy who told her what she could and couldn't do. Now she is just letting her hair down. Hey, if she wants to flutter around in just her bra and panties with butterfly shaped rings on her fingers, I'm all for it.

It's a shame the X Factor finalists have slaughtered yet another Mariah classic. Last year they killed When You Belive, now they've slaughtered Hero. Boohoo!

  • Hiya,
Again, sorry for being out of touch with this thread, but wondered if anyone knew the following ? I've got one of those £5 ROC vouchers from aaaages ago and wondered if you can use them with a skincare bluey ?
Also, are there also Tillspit blueys and 'official' blueys with this offer (which you might be able to combine), or are there just 'blueys'.
Thanks a lot (hope that made sense !!!)
Yes, I don't see why you couldn't use the bluey and RoC voucher together.
There isn't a tillspit equivalent of a bluey this time, if you use the SS tills you then need to show your receipt to an SA who will give you a bluey.
