    Guys and girls,

Please check your equipment can use this type of card before buying:

"Please Note: Please check the device you are buying this card for is SDHC compatible. SDHC cards are not backwards compatible with standard SD Host devices, however standard SD cards are forward compatible with SDHC host devices"

However, that compatability if not the reverse way! :D
  • Will this work on a nintendo ds?
  • No....the r4 cards use micro sd cards.

There are 8gb cards and 8gb cards the make and quality can make a big difference to price.
I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.
  • I'm not up on these things but I notice the Sandisc is only Class 2 in terms of speed, whereas this Kingston jobby is Class 4 @ £1 extra.

As I say, don't know if that makes much/any difference, but there you go.

Depends on what you use it for?

A normal box standard card is good for data storage and transfers and standard camaera's (point and squirts). However I have a Nikkon DSLR and would not touch these with a barge pole as not fast enough to process the images for taking fast shots...

But, for everyday use.. They are great. I always buy the extreme SD's and have never had any problems, but that is for my DSLR, but I also use them to move data about and save fles on, etc.

My husband just ordered me a video camera that uses SD cards. So would i need the "4" (higher speed) one? Thanks.
