Student Loans Company. STILL taking money after completed.

What is it with them? I know numerous people that have had trouble with the student loans company. Surely when a loan is paid off there should be something in place to automatically stop payments coming out! Think of the interest they must be making. Anyone else having this problem? (daft question really as I know the answer).
