It shows variable rate to be cut on 1st Dec 2008 to 5.19% which means offset rate must be less than that we shall see !0 -

sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but someone on another thread said that they were told by the bank that the offset rates weren't going to drop

I have posted this in similar natwest Offset thread today and repeat it here.
What are the Natwest up to. I have had the offset mortgage only three months and I was cold called by them yesterday, trying to tempt me out of the arrangement with 'advanced notice' of some juicy money saving new fixed rate morgages.
Where's the trust.
