He may be technically a troll, in that he posts here to bait, but he is a long-standing poster on this forum, albeit not one who's posted much recently, owing to the fact that his stand was a bullish riposte to any suggestions house prices might fall; rather harder to maintain as prices fell month by month.

But if we start calling him a troll, we need to dismiss all the other bulls as trolls too, on the grounds that no rational person could be a housing bull at the moment, and so it is surely all done deliberately to provoke.

Which would be problematic, shall we say - it might reduce the amount of argument, but also lots of the fun....

    Fair point.
More generally (I am what I believe is technically called a 'lurker') everything's got a lot nastier recently around here. Is that to do with that thing of denial, anger, etc?

No- I got married/had first child age 29. Bang on national average, actually, I believe, you naughty, stirring little man. :naughty:

When I had my first baby at 29, I was considered old. Now it turns out, I was a trend setter:D
RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

Hardly, my mum was 40 when she had me 37 years ago. Then she was 43 when she had my sister. Twenty-nine is a mere Babe-in-arms;)

Bizarre. So want to know the low-income, hubris-necessitating field of employment. Big brother runner-up?

    :rotfl:

So spill the beans OP, what business are you in? I am curious now!

Carol - this is probably a good description of yourself. Especially when you use that really big font. I'm not sure why you're accusing someone else of this... ;)

Have you never been asked on a date? Is it possible you misunderstood when someone asked?
