Going to Lille for the Christmas market, so more likely snow!

Oooo - how lovely (so jealous). Would love to do a European Christmas market break. Maybe next year!

afternoon all. Back from work and seeing Charlie.

Just had a egg yolk roll (white makes me feel sick just at the smell) and a noodle cup a soup thingy. I realised I didn't have anything quick for lunch and nearly gave in and went home via the corner shop, but I'm glad I didn't now, I'm determined to use up bits and pieces in the house as much as possible over the coming days.

I've been given £1000 by my parents after the money from my nanna's house cleared. They deposited it yesterday. I still feel my Dad should have all the money for his retirement (a house in Grimsby doesn't exactly fetch a lot) but they have refused. They have paid off their mortgage, given the 4 of us £1k each and have 20k left for his retirement in Feb. He still wants to work part time though, driving or something similar (he has been a milkman for over 30 years) but jobs like that in Grimsby aren't easy to find.

We would make a good pair BB, I hate the yolk and like the white. Actually as long as its mixed up like in scrambled egg I can stomach it but hard boiled or fried eggs are a no no
Thats lovely that your parents have given you some money from your nana, its obviously something that she would have wanted too. What are you going to do with the money? You must get something special with a little bit of it at least rather than wittle it away all on living.

I can't do scrambled egg Sally..... _pale_ or egg mayo _pale_ It's the smell more than anything, but the taste etc is just as bad. It's even in my baby book as a food I don't like! Meringue is the only thing I like involving egg whites!

To be honest, it will all go on living expenses to keep my head above water. I don't 'need' anything at the moment and I think I'd kick myself if I spent it on anything........unless anyone has any suggestions?!

Hi Lucifa, nice to see you back. How did you do do you think and more importantly when do you get the results...

I have mine first two weeks in december and i am in that black hole where you feel guilty if you even think about anything else other than studying....I have ulcers on the roof of my mouth and all i think about constantly is chocolate. At least I am not pregnant too...glad you did them then and didn't put them off...

Thanks Sammy. It's a hard exam to call. There were questions that felt like a breeze and others that felt like Hell (I mean - 10marks to 'discuss' the case law leading to DOTAS - honestly!). Sometimes I feel like I might I may have done enough to pass but I keep squashing those positive thoughts so I'm not too disappointed come results time.

I have AAAAAAAAAAAGES to wait - results out on 20 jan so due 3 weeks before Bean:p . An overall pass might just send me into labour:rotfl:

Is it CIMA you're sitting? Sorry if youve already said. I know what you mean about guilt. If i so much as stopped for a cup of tea I felt dreadful but made myself take time out as I was close to burning out I think! I am glad I didn't delay them though as they'd still be hanging over me!:A

Look after yourself Sammy (including having chocolate) - no piece of paper is worth your health!

    Ta:D , haven't passed them (yet:rolleyes: ) but glad to be through the tunnel:rotfl:

How are you (apart from hungover and incredibly brave!), how's the job hunt going?

And what is this run that folks have signed up for?
