Ian Rankin Books?

Hiya,
can anyone recommend somewhere to get some cheap Ian Rankin books? I don't mind joining a book club.
Nice to save.

If you have a Costco card they might have some?

The Book People had 6 Ian Rankins for about £10 (but they aren't on the website anymore)  Costco often have similar offers to The Book People

Do they have to be new books? If not try Almost free books or try charity shops.

  • Tesco (in store) were doing 2 bundled together - The Watchman and a Good Hanging - for a ridiculous price (I think about £3.80). Probably still got them.I bought them, but don't particularly like - if you get no joy at Tesco, PM me - you can have them for the cost of postage. :)

Have you tried Amazon - not the new stuff but the second hand - quality can be as good as new and really cheap.

If you are anywhere near a publishers clearance outlook then they are worth trying. :):)

One of the best places for books are Libraries. You can find them on most highstreets or city centres, and the books are often free (though you do need to return them after a short period) ;)

  • Hi T_N

The best place to buy books is at your local Car Boot Sale.

You need never spend more than 50p on a book again.

Some come three books in one volume and money off on Amazon. You could have had mine - if I hadn't already got rid of them. You could also try ebay.
  • Thanks for your help everyone!

  • I usually pick up my Ian Rankin from Works or any other book-clearance store like that.

I bought his Knots and Crosses for £1.99 a month ago from Works. I think there are some new ones available for £4.99 each.
The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.
