Hi looking for software recomendations for burning some home movies on to DVD's that are playable in standard home DVD players.
We are not talking pinewood studio standards here just a simple to use burning application, I have already done the trimming and editing using windows movie editor.
The films are finished I just need to burn them on my PC to whatever standard the DVD players will recognise and play.
Thanks

some dvd players will recognise different formats anyway. one thing to check though is that you remember to "finish" the DVD which should be on option when you burn the film onto the disk. Without finishing the disk - other DVD players may not be able to play the disk.Don't try to teach a pig to sing - it wastes your time and annoys the pig0

Not sure whether you want a burner of something to convert your file to DVD format before burning, but if you want the latter SUPER converts pretty much anything to DVD format, amongst others.
That look like the sort of thing I am missing, thanks!Signature No Longer acceptable -

None of the above suggestions, other than maybe SUPER, are really suitable for what you need. Try DVD Flick
Ahh simplicity reigns, DVD Flick seems to be right on the mark, click the button and go - my sort of application, thanks very much for the link.
