I have had a similar expereince with a Tesco.com flower order. The delivery address defaulted to the address at the top of the list when I was direct back a page by Tesco.com.
When I phoned Tesco immediately I spotted the error I was told that a flower order could not be amended or cancelled - going on your reply from Tesco that latter point seems not to be true.
I too have contacted Tesco by letter twice and had two standard responses with no direct apology and no reference to my issue. The second letter was direct to the Chief Exec Sir Terry Leahy at Tesco House, Cheshunt, Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire, EN8 9SL but it simply got redirected to the customer service centre in Dundee. However I would write to the CEO as it shows that you have gone to he top and still had no satisfaction if you take action later on...

I did email them again and told them I would be writing to somebody higher up who might actually care about how their customers were being treated. Yes you guessed it, no reply!
I am going to write to them at some point this week, but at the moment I'm stuck in bed so not sure when I will get it posted!Dream of being mortgage free....
