Equifax does not seem to care

Dear Sir,
I requested Equifax to send me my statutory credit report under the Data Protection act.
Credit File Ref No: 04778672-01
Sent the documents and paid the 2£ fee.Equifax then wrote to me promising to send it to my in 7 days time. This was on 20/10/08
Since then I have received nothing whatsoever.I have written several times and posted questions on their so called customer care website but not even got a single reply
Even a water company managed to trace me through the equifax trail of addreses about an outstanding bill .Thankfully I paid it off immediately and sorted out the matter in 24hrs.
But I am still awaiting the credit report
What can I do? I have paid 2£ for the same and as per law they have to send it to me in 7 working days .Just feel that Equifax is giving me a hard time because I chose to go down the 2£ -data protection act route and not the regular payment route
Is there anyone I write to or any agency I can complain to? From the looks of it I bet Equifax is doing this to a lot of people on a regular basis
Thanking you for your kind attention
Regards
M Fernandes
