Ceridian Managed Expenses = any experience?

Has anyone had any problems with Ceridian Managed Expenses through their line of work? I have a problem.
Due to a million and one issues, I am now finally able to submit a mileage claim for around £700 - unfortunately, the collated reciepts I have total only £560. This is down to a number of reasons - forgetfulness, family death, much upheavel etc. Not their problem I realise, but what should I do?
Do I put in the claim for petrol I have legitmately used for work purposes, yet do not have the receipts to prove - or do I submit the reduced claim and take the hit on the chin? (Too heavy a hit to take to be honest)
A tough problem where I realise the situation is of my own doing, if only I could have claimed earlier. Any ideas?

You're supposed to keep records, and there's a good chance HMRC will ask to see the records.0
