Hi bluebear
I would request for a written breakdown on what has been paid in total so far, this to me does not seem right.
Who was the finance with if you don't mind me asking?
There is also a ppi reclaiming - discussion thread if you would like more guidance there, where myself and others can help all we can.
Click on loan, then after you have done that, at the top of the page you will see "PPI reclaiming -discussion", you can copy and paste your post above if you want to and take it there where others can also have their say about this.;)
Also check this link out here which gives you some examples of ppi mis selling, this may be of some help, there is also a template letter you can use to help you.
