I won't be shopping with Tesco anymore. They are not cheap, value fruit and veg has gone up by double in the last week don't see other supermarkets doing this. People put and shut up whats wrong with people.0

You know if we consumers stood together we'd have far more power than we realise. Have you noticed that now it's christmas people leave their christmas shopping til the last minute? The retailers get into a panic and then start reducing a lot of stock before christmas. If we stood together in the rest of the year we could make a difference to the way retailers think.0

Hi,
Yes, they all have Iceland written on them.
I hope my tesco's will accept them, we have a self scan so touch wood!
:xmastree:If Tescos and Asda are lowering prices every day,
how come nothing is free yet? :rotfl:0 -

Maybe they haven't received the memo yet!
Hi SuperJules- I too went shopping in Tesco Extra today at Horwich in Bolton Lancashire and they accepted money off vouchers totalling £ 3-50 for items that I had not purchased and also a voucher from Sainsburys for £ 6 off when spending over £ 30 ..
At first the cashier said that they werent taking Sainsburys vouchers any more and when I told her that the cashier had said the same thing last week - but when I had asked for a supervisor to come over - the Supervisor confirmed that I could use the voucher. So today I again asked for a Supervisor and again the Supervisor said yes as long as I had met the minimum spend on the voucher from Sainsburys then it could be used.
I actually believe that the cashiers are told by the management to tell customers "sorry that voucher cannot be used" and if the customer doesnt ask more questions then Tesco's have more money in their tills at the end of the day..... So maybe in future if anyone is told - "Sorry No" - ask for a supervisor to confirm the situation - they may just back down.
Hope this has been of help
Merry Christmas Everyone - have a great time xxxx :xmassign: :snow_laug :xmastree:Remember is nice to be important but more important to be nice0
