For all of you buying the Wii's and electrical gadgets and gizmos for Christmas may want to know that Maplins have their rechargeable batteries on offer at present.
Normally £7.99 per pack of which ever batteries you buy, they are presently BOGOF, so worthwhile....
They are on their website, click here, you may have to pay postage for orders under a certain value or they are in-store also as I just picked some more up to go in various things around the house and my own Wii!
Local stores can be found here.
Happy hunting and don't forget your batteries for Christmas! :j

I can highly recommend Duracell Supreme rechargeable batteries for high power items like cameras.

I got a 4-pack of AAs (2650mAh power) for £5.79 last week via Amazon but they're now £6.19. Still a great buy though, down from £9.99 RRP.

They really do outperform all other rechargeable batteries (compare customer reviews of Duracell Supreme with all other brands)0 -
On the topic of rechargeable batteries, Poundland currently have 4x packs of AA and AAA rechargeables! amazing value (Normal AA batteries are usually more than £1!), but yet to see how well they hold their charge. :T0

I've been using them and they are fine.
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -
The AA rechargeables I saw in Poundland last week were only 800ma capacity. Most AA's are now at least 2400ma so you are getting what you pay for really. Aldi now have a range of rechargeables at £2.99 and I think they are 2400ma, that price is for 4 AA, AAA or two C or D size.Friedgreen wrote: »On the topic of rechargeable batteries, Poundland currently have 4x packs of AA and AAA rechargeables! amazing value (Normal AA batteries are usually more than £1!), but yet to see how well they hold their charge. :T
