Covent Garden is a brilliant travelodge. We stayed in the new part right next door to the "hairspray" theatre and had the breakfast too. It's amazing value, and can't be beaten anywhere. Fantastic!

I managed to book Manchester Airport for the night before our hols as we fly at 6am, I don't fancy driving over the pennines in the middle of the night. we will go over in the afternoon and get our heads down there for a few hours. bargain for £9!

I am flying in feb at 6am from manchester..was thinking off booking one for £9...good idea to go over early etc...i might do that too so at least we can relax before we go...i was just going to get the train and hang about the airport

Thanks for this. We have an early flight from Manchester next March and was going to travel by train during the night. This is a much better idea. Just booked for £9.

when they say "non transferable" how do they prevent this ?

Their terms are very clear.Incidentally on Ebay they also have a headline listing warning
    do the 'Travelodge' search there

Remember Travelodge have the original bookers details if the room gets damaged etc.I'm sure those sellers on Ebay would be very happy in paying for this on their card.
I would think that they will take monies from that card for repairs etc.
What if the police get involved?
I always show two forms of ID at reception corresponding with the booking name.
I wouldn't want to be caught out with the family and be turned away if they were not satisfied that I was the person on the reservation.
What if there were casualties in a hotel fire?Who do we look for now?

Book early and use topcashback for an extra 5% off
  • Anyone know a website where your allowed to swap/buy rooms people dont want/can't use anymore?
I'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!

I have stayed in so many travelodges and I have never been asked for ID even on sale rooms.I just print the booking confirmation.

  • I received my credit card bill this morning for a room I booked via the mobile link that was posted when the website wasn't working.

It's showing on my statement as Travelodge "lisa" reservation? Has this happened to anyone else?! FYI, my name is not Lisa.
