Dealing with creditors during initial set-up of DMP

Hello,

I've just back all the forms to the CCCS and notice of debt management plan to my creditors. Today I've had Egg on the phone chasing up payment and explained to them that I am entering a DMP and that I've sent a £1 token payment for November's payment until the CCCS get in touch with them.

At this point they tell me that they can't stop any cold calling to chase payment during this process to which I told them that isn't acceptable and that we'd need to deal with everything in writing from this point onwards.

They got a bit nasty and told me that no, they were a telephone based company (funny, I thought they were an Internet company but whenver you deal with their Secure Message system they usually just tell you to call them - so much of technology).

Can creditors use auto-dialers after you've told them about the CCCS DMP? Would that fall under harrassment? I know they've got to get their money back (and they will be!) but...
